PIVOT Cycles Demo Tour – 3 Stage

The Pivot Cycles Demo Tour came to Canada for the first time and we were thrilled that they chose 3 Stage here in Collingwood as a stop on the tour. Their crew consisted of Canadian Distribution Rep J.P., Head of International Sales Ben and Brendon who is the East Coast driver for the tour. It was an incredible day and with over 35 bikes to test ride, riders really got to dig into the bikes and push their limits on some amazing terrain.

It’s always interesting to get direct feedback from riders and we really were thrilled to hear what everyone had to say about the bikes. Robert Lee tested out the MACH 429 Trail “This is a great general use bike, I couldn’t believe how smooth it was over the roots and rocks, it just sails over it, it has a great component group as well, if I could buy a second bike this would be the one.”

Jim Hulton who normally finds himself riding at Hardwood Ski and Bike was riding at 3 Stage for the first time. He test rode a Mach 4 and had this to say about his experience “There is a big difference between this bike and the one that I am riding right now. It was incredible what I was able to ride over. It was so light and quick.”

Jake from Willow Beach and Peter from Hamilton were in Collingwood for a Bachelor party! They were able to squeeze in some riding time and once again they were first time visitors to 3 Stage! They both gave the Switchblade a try and here is what Jake had to say “It was so light, easy to control and maneuver”. Similar feedback from Peter “I found it just soaked everything up, such a nice bike on the climbs too, it just ate up the roots and rocks and made the descents so much fun.”

Local rider Craig, who already owns a Pivot MACH 6, gave the Switchblade Plus a go out on the trails. He mentioned that he really liked the plus tires “It climbed amazing, better than the MACH 6 on the descents. There was great traction over the roots and rocks.”

This demo day was a resounding success. The weather was amazing and the volume of smiles would indicate that Pivot Cycles bikes are becoming a Canadian favorite by riders of all ages and ability levels!
